Nice one. I've been telling people about this for ages, & I'm amazed more people don't do it. Straploks made the screws work loose in my Strat body - they're a bad piece of design. I switched to this method years ago & I haven't had a screw move because the screws aren't under any sort of stres...

There's no need to waste money on over-engineered straplok devices. Just buy two flip-top bottles of Grolsch, drink it, & put the rubber washers over the strap buttons & your strap. That will hold the strap in place as firmly as anyone could want.

@shotzfire It partly depends where in the world you live. In the UK they do come up for sale on eBay - that's where I bought my 1980 TE70 - gorgeous Tele.

Love the tune, the groove, & the gorgeous Hammond sound. But.... it ain't The Champ, it's a quite blatant rip-off of Lowell Fulson's song "Tramp", as memorably covered in the 60s by Otis Redding & Carla Thomas. So the royalties should be going to Lowell Fulson - I bet they're not!
