@SDupe44 Oh I know exactly where you are coming from. There is a part in the Sam Harris book The Moral Landscape where he describes rescuing himself and another from a dangerous situation by way of using obscure vernacular to confuse and defuse said situation. However the importance of speaking to the level of your audience can not be understated where communication is the goal. I learned this the hard way in front of year 10 students.

@Stanley I am sorry mate can you clarify something for me? What would me being female have to do with anything? Are you claiming women are ignorant or perhaps you are stating that women will not accept the truth when presented to them or even that women are unable to learn for some reason? Don't club them on the head and drag them back to your hovel mate... they don't like that.
