I'm just another random viewer/listener,...but I am guessing this was at one of the Amoeba music stores, the one in L.A. I think? This performance says a lot, about Paul's feelings,...probably thinking about George, as well as John.

Whether J.L. literally experienced it, or figuratively imagined it, he managed to express a thorough range of the pain and desperation that can hit you when parting with something that was a major element in ones life...It was too heavy for Paul, he either didn't get it,...or understood it too much.

There are maybe a handful of musicians on this planet, that can do justice to this Jimmy Webb song as well as J.T. does here.

If you check out the other video of him playing this song when he was younger, (w/ much longer hair, and beard) he may have been 25 to 30 years younger, it is clear to see that he really worked at evolving the piano accompaniment he's done with this song.
