I commented on another segment that Chopra is channeling Professor Irwin Corey. Now I am afraid that I have to make the same statement about Jean. The only difference is that Jean doesn't come off as quite as big a moron. Not quite...

To be fair to Jean, I believe the only reason she is there is that the organizers of the debate needed a second person to be on Chopra's side of the debate, and her agent was asleep at the wheel when he/she signed her up.

Shermer facepalm at 7:28 pretty much sums up my reaction to just about everything Chopra says. I find it difficult to classify his statements as anything other than complete ass-hattery. Is that a proper scientific term? :^)

"Phase locking" and "frequency locking". Really? Write every scientific term you can think of in tiny letters on a dart board. Throw a bunch of darts. Instant Chopra pronouncement!

It is sad to see an articulate, intelligent person such as Mr. Chopra piss away his abilities on this woo-woo. I am embarrassed for Mr. Chopra and my entire race (Homo Sapiens Sapiens).

After watching these poor deluded morons in action, I will find it difficult to badmouth jihadis from now on. If this movie has demonstrated nothing else, it is that bullshit is a truly interfaith phenomenon.

@Fiendin The "instrument" frequently associated with a monkey is a barrel organ (there are quite a few vids on Youtube). In 19th century NYC these "organ grinders" were often considered pests, something like mimes today :^)
