I use a brushless outrunner Model S-4020-16 415KV together with a wooden prop. 16x9. Performance is good with 6S 5000mA LiPo.

Thanks for your positive comments (would love to fly full size Choppers but fly fixed wing instead- much cheaper). Regarding bending blades- I'd rather think it's got to do with some light reflection from the floods?
