BIOGRAPHY Dax D. Druckman (Dax) started in music as a drummer at the age of 12, and started playing in bands publically by the time he was a junior in high school. With his one and only passion in life being his love of music, Dax quickly forged ahead, and by "stepping outside the boundaries", managed to successfully become the extremely talented and multi-faceted musician and entertainer we see reflected in STONE IMAGE today. Dax was not only founder of, but also a member of some heavy/industrial/thrash/experimental metal bands such as Demogorgon; Sickness; Infuriated; Undefined; Brooder; Mudskipper; and Mindnumb. These bands played at many public venues with notable ones being the Four G's Hotel; Scarlett's; Studio One; Obsessions; Blue Valley Farm Show Complex; and Unisound. Dax also spent a year touring with the band End Zone as their Drum Technician, teching in large venues such as CBGB's and Lupo's. Dax formed STONE IMAGE as well as Monument Records in the year 1994. STONE IMAGE is Dax pure and simple. STONE IMAGE has enabled Dax to fully explore his creative side. Monument Records was formed for the sole purpose of producing and engineering STONE IMAGE music. Since 1994, Monument Records produced and engineered 3 STONE IMAGE LP's; Face Masked Truth in 1994; Stepping Outside the Boundaries in 1996 and Dawn of a New Creation in 1997 (Released in 2008). STONE IMAGE also teamed up with VOW, a local Black Death Metal group, to produce a Split EP, released in 2008. STONE IMAGE is currently in the studio gearing up to record new music.
