mw3 is based on being a kickass individual fighting to the death in a tiny arena.Bf3 is about teamwork and realistic (to a point) combat situations. Its all a matter of what you enjoy more, I personally prefer battlefield's open feel and ridiculously cinematic multiplayer battles.
