For better magazine reading tap on the upper right hand corner and a selection will appear that let's you select "text view". Try that, it makes reading magazines very readable, even enjoyable, while preserving some of the photos as you read.

You can read the text on magazines just fine with either of these devices. On the Nook simply choose Article View and you can even select font size. With the Fire you select Text View. These selections allow you to read magazine articles at normal text sizes while maintaining that page's pictu...
