True Sainters was forged in the ashes of the St Kilda Football Club's former official forum Saints Central. While not an official site, some of the lead members of Saints Central, with that forum unfortunately becoming misused and unmoderated, decided to create a new community of loyal Saints fans in a more friendly environment. The result was True Sainters, a community of Saints fans interacting in a far more friendly, positive and encouraging environment than its predecessor.

The website took off and became a far bigger community than it's founders anticipated. With the addition of more and more members, each with their own contributions, the True Sainters founders expanded into other social media forms in order to meet the growing community's demands, with popular Facebook and Twitter mediums set up. With a number of members contributing more than just thoughts and feelings, a True Sainters wordpress was created to better display a number of articles written by True Sainters members.
