I love singing, music, acting, comedy, magic and generally performing.

2012 promises to be an interesting year. I have been cast to play Ronnie Winslow in the Winslow Boy at The Octagon Theatre and Dim in the Grandfathers with The Lowry Young Actors Company. I have just completed The King & I, also at The Lowry in addition to two original songs with Angels In Chaos and two original cover mixes. Later this year I am looking to get back to some original material as Josh Taylor, solo artist.

I started singing late 2007. Since then I have performed in many parks, at charity events, private functions and in many shows including the International Talent Showcase in Paris, the Remembrance Service at the Albert Halls in Bolton, a concert performance at The Rose Theatre in Kingston at the International Youth Arts Festival and at West End Live in Leicester Square (2010) and Trafalgar Square (2011) taking to the stage with the NYMT straight after Shayne Ward who was performing in Rock of Ages.

During 2011 I engaged in an artist development programme working on original material with songwriters Matthew Humphrys and Andrew Beverley. My songs included: 'If You Choose To Leave', 'I Don't Want To Be Ordinary', 'Thinking Of You Tonight', 'You Can Be Mine', 'Look Into My Heart' and 'Bitter Pill'. I was also commissioned to record Friends No More (in German) for Hexis Productions, a classical vocal for a play called 'The Interview - the story of the holocaust'. I recorded 'The Bible The Bible' for a new animation series called 'Cherub Wings Bible Tales for Herald Entertainment Inc., Mexico and three further vocals for an independent animation specialists also based in Mexico. I completed a 3 month run at The Octagon Theatre, Bolton in David Copperfield playing the part of Young David Copperfield, I played Sky Masterson in the junior production of Guys and Dolls with the C.A.T.S. Youth Theatre at the Theatre Church, I completed a re-run of Sweeney Todd with the NYMT performing at The Rose Theatre in Kingston and more recently I played the part of Abraham in Korczak a musical theatre play about Janusz Korczak and the children that faced their final journey to Treblinka in 1942 with the Youth Music Theatre UK which was also at The Rose Theatre. My last production for 2011 was playing several cameo roles in Wedding Singer with C.A.T.S.
