This brings back memories, piggott was quoted saying jupiter island would win the ebor after its previous race, so i swiftly got off to the bookies and got 14-1 anti-post, i was 20 at the time and just got into horse racing.

one of the best guineas and milers there has ever been, considering what a great race horse chief singer was, coventry stakes as a 2yo, st james palace and july cup as a 3yo yet el gran senor left him for dead in the 2000 guineas, he was a machine on this day.

still the most impressive performance i have ever seen in 30 years watching horse racing, i hope uncle mo does not go the same way as a 3yo
