I was doing some more reading on the zero fret issue, and it turns out that the Feiten system doesn't use a stagger at the nut, like an Earvana compensated nut. So a zero fret is possible- the Feiten system just calls for it to sit a slightly different distance from the first fret.

I know exactly what you mean, but to be fair, all of the Japanese-based drag bikes I saw that day, went home on a trailer, just like the Harley.
And it really was quite the piece of plumbing. Viewed up close, the twin turbo installation was impressive.

Wow. The new BTB packs a pretty serious cushion down low, but has a nice vocal quality in the mids. Very nice! IMO, this is worth cutting another copy and dropping the levels a bit, so your sound card doesn't break up on the bottom end.
