I see you posted a Adirondack Scenic volunteer request video. Just to let you know. You really don't need a car up there. There is a Amtrak bus connection right out of Jamestown to Buffalo. Then train to Utica. There are hotels like Red Roof Inn, across the tracks along with restaurants a short walk away. Don't for get the old New York Central restaurant open during the week lunch times in the station. Utica Union.....still open. It served the NYC-DL&W and the New York,Ontario and Western. Today it's Amtrak, Adirondack Scenic and NYS&W. There is also a city busline, if you don't like the short walks. If I can do it without a car. You can too. Why force two tons of steel to Utica, NY if you only need it for 5 miles? Total, you can't walk that? I do.

yo man whats good?..saw a few of ur update vid's...its sad the amfleet is getting scrapped but tht happen's... amtrak is planing on replaceing them soon and to help u out with the switcher truck problem just replace the wheels with ones from an athrean blue box...proto units have a simular wheel problem and i just replace them with blue box wheels tht i've stored up..great travel layout u have!! :-)
