Who I am and What I do G'day! and welcome to my 100 day challenge video log. I grew up with the old story of get a good education, get a good job and you will be set for life, I had all that from the age of 18 and some 20 odd years later I found myself out of work, in another country, with a young family to support. Being the sole wage earner let me tell I was devasted and the pressure was overwhelming at times.
I found out through the school of hard knocks that I was lied to, that everything I was taught was meaningless. I had just learned a tough lesson, that the only way to achieve financial independence had nothing to do with working for someone else. Frankly I got angry and I made a promise to myself that I was going to find a better way to bring to my family the lifestyle they deserved and never ever put them in that position again.
Since that time I turned to Network Marketing as the vehicle to achieve the financial success I was after. I had to learn, albeit the hard way how to tell the scams from the legitimate oppourtunities but beyond that I was searching to learn from those who already possesed the knowledge and experience I was seeking.
I can't tell you how many late nights I would spend cold calling people trying to pitch them on something or other and I was becoming burned out and a little jaded with continuously cold calling strangers and receiving rejection on a grand scale. I felt this was the price I had to pay to become successful but I was starting to dread it worse than my day job. Even through all that and the skeptism and ridicule of my friends and family I kept on, I knew there had to be a better way and I was determined to succeed. After all what was my plan B , go back to working for a living, never!
