I saw Keith Pearson and his Right Hand Band a couple of times at The Pied Bull - Farningham Folk Club in Kent UK around 78/79. They had Dave Arbus of East of Eden/Jig-a-jig fame in the band then. Two of the best nights out I have ever had and glad to see Keith is still strutting his folky stuff! ...

Classical trivia for you peeps....
Those opening notes at the start are from the 5th symphony (last movement) by Sibelius.
And yes, it was used in Beach Baby by First Class as well.

Out of all the 4 tops songs this is my favourite and one of my favourite songs of all time. I love all the Holland Dozier Holland stuff but this one was written by a white chap (Jimmy Webb) so bless him for coming up trumps with a classic. Well posted Bob - obviously a man of impeccable taste!
