From the front court on the basketball team at the University of Tennessee to the front lawn of the White House, Steve Gill is the essence of real Americana. Gill, a former White House Fellow, U.S. international trade official, attorney, college professor, international businessman and son of an Air Force fighter pilot, has seen the many faces of America. He has lived in over a dozen cities from Anchorage to Miami.

Over the last ten years, Steve has been able to develop this type of bond with many of his listeners as he has dominated Nashville talk on WLAC, AM 1510 and WWTN, FM 99.7. The impact of his show has led Business Tennessee magazine to repeatedly rank him among the 50 most powerful people in Tennessee for years and Talkers Magazine has regularly recognized him as one of the most influential talk hosts in the country.

In 2001, Gill staged his own version of the "Boston Tea Party" when he and over 5000 listener/protestors successfully fought back a proposed state income tax in Tennessee at the state capitol. Gill has never been content to simply air his show from a radio studio and regularly takes the show "on the road." In recent years The Steve Gill Show has broadcast from the White House; from New Hampshire during the Presidential Primaries; from New York City and the Pentagon for the anniversary of the 9-11 attacks; from Guantanamo Bay; from Jerusalem and the Golan Heights in Israel and while on patrol with U.S. soldiers and Marines in Baghdad and Fallujah.

Steve has received numerous AIR (Achievement in Radio) Awards, including Best Talk Host in Nashville, and has twice received recognition as a Hero of the Taxpayers from Americans for Tax Reform for his leadership in opposing a state income tax in Tennessee. Steve has been the Chief Political Analyst for WKRN News 2 (ABC) inNashville.
