this is short axis. pnbsiva labelled the image with medial and lateral, so the probe is in transverse or short axis. The probe is perpendicular to the spinal column.

+1 on bad medicine. The nerve structures are incorrectly labelled early on. It also looks like the local anesthetic went into the middle scalene muscle -- if it went into the nerve bundle, the local would push the nerves around. Here the local expands a zone to the left of the bundle only.

The fascia iliaca is labelled incorrectly. It should be immediately above the femoral nerve. It dive deep to the femoral artery (i.e. it does not go superficial to the artery). The block looks great, but the label is important for educating others, because the area where your Fascia Iliaca arr...
