@deskate10 It was close,and had Plushenko's jumps all been on axis he might just have taken it,but Lysacek's interpretation of the music was ahead of the Russian's which was analogous to a funeral march.

Johnny I will always have this performance in my memory. What a pity the scoring today favours bulldozer skaters with no artistic proficiency whatsoever..

@AnotherSchmoe That's true,to be charitable,but your blanket pedalling and ubiquitous use of affretando killed off any enjoyment I might have obtained from this piece..

@TheBipolarBroom Actually it doesn't annoy me but I know what you mean with Chopin;there's a section in his Tristesse which seems incongruous with the start and end of the piece.
