Hello and welcome to my channel. My mission is to present only high quality music videos, often rare, and remastered with CD quality stereo sound.
My guidelines for deciding whether to upload a clip:
• The video is not commercially available (DVD, iTunes or whatever). I'm not here to flagrantly violate copyright, but if record companies refuse to release videos from their vaults, then the result is thousand of fans posting music videos to YouTube. You reap what you sow, guys.
• The clip is available elsewhere on YouTube, but is of poor quality in one or more respects. Generally I only post "clean" videos (no titles or watermarks, if possible), full-length (no missing bits at the beginning or end), and at the full resolution and frame rate of the original.
• Remastered audio. The technology exists to steamroll over poor quality original audio tracks - so I use it. Unfortunately many record companies - if they ever release old clips - take the cheap low quality option, and do not restripe the audio with CD quality sound. If this is the case, I take the opportunity to fix what should have been fixed. All the videos I post have remastered audio.
• Fixing up clips with "sound effects", like dialogue and background noise related to the vision. I hate that. I really do. A music video is there to serve the music, not the other way around. So I remaster the audio to get rid of those irritating interruptions to the music.
I'll add videos as regularly as I can. Unfortunately some uploads have been rejected due to copyright claims. The clips which have been rejected are listed below.
