The Science and Technology Education Leveraging Relevance (STELR) project is a national initiative of the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering (ATSE). ATSE is one of Australias four Learned Academies. * The main aims of the ATSE STELR project are to: * Increase the participation rates in physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics at the upper secondary school level * Address the increasing shortage of scientists and engineers in the workplace * Address the skill shortage in technological careers and trades * Improve the level of science literacy in the community * Improve the quality of science classroom teaching practise
