Phil performs on a variety of instruments including but not limited to piano
and keyboards, steel drum, electric ukulele, congas and bongos, multi-percussion, melodica...
Phil uses the highest quality sound and P.A. gear with the punch of computer backing tracks resulting in a full and exciting sound regardless of the size of the band or performance space.
He is always cordial and dependable - having a degree in Music and Broadcast Communications from Stanford University shows his dedication to excellence. He has toured and performed in Japan, Hawaii, Reno, Las Vegas, up and down the West Coast and has been developing his latest and greatest shows yet in Austin Texas.
Though Phil writes and performs original music he enjoys playing requests and has the experience and ability to morph through any and all styles of music. Though unique in his ability to sing while performing on the steel drum (The Beach Boys were impressed enough to invite him to play on "Kokomo" in concert),
he ventures beyond his specializations in Beach Reggae / Jimmy Buffett to include Rock, Romantic, Oldies, Country, even into Funk and Disco - with all the best party music you can imagine. He has the voice for Frank Sinatra and Elvis and even the Beatles and Stones and covers Elton John and Billy Joel favorites while performing on the keyboards. Each performance is unique to suit the occasion.
