Who am I? I have been a software entrepreneur and executive, co-founded a successful company and worked for many years as a Chief Technical Officer. I also studied English Literature at York University, hold an undergraduate degree in History from McGill University, and earned a graduate degree from the University of Toronto, focusing on the history of philosophy. I received an 'A' for my Master's Thesis analyzing the political implications of the philosophies of Immanuel Kant, G.W.F. Hegel, Thomas Hobbes and John Locke.

Hello great site. Video 45 has never been so true as now. I keep telling people when it comes to Obama watch the other hand. Not that Obama is the first to do this but is probably the best at it. He says one thing then all his flunkies do the opposite and he gets away with it.

No you're not. Get off your high horse, you don't know shit until you can at least see through the state. And even then you may, like stef, still believe in ethics - which is simply the modalification of the innate "sense of justice". Stef admits that, like the state, ethics had always been used for badness. Yet, instead of opposing the mind-virus of ethics, he seeks to reform it like the statist seeks to reform the state. And this leads to his belief in the mortal soul, or "free will" (effect without a cause), a null zone that makes his ethics work. |
