Mark. Davis resides in the UK and
has dedicated thousands of hours of research, sourcing first hand
accounts, creating oral and pictorial histories, while sourcing information through archives in an effort to redress and address social injustices suffered by thousands of patients who were locked away in public institutions, such as the Magdalen Laundries and former Lunatic Asylums. The hope is to sustain memory regarding the institutional realities of the nineteenth and twentieth century, even as society marches on.
