I've been listening to almost no one but Todd Snider for a about a year now, and just when I thought I had felt it all and heard it all in his songs, he goes and does it again... just beautiful! Please come to Houston or Beaumont, TX soon Todd!!

I love that he said "Melody is what it's all about..." That's right - most drummers say it's rhythm, but it IS melody - people forget that drums are musical instruments in themselves, capable of making more sounds than just a wallop or a bang... love his overtones and very acoustic-ey drum sound
