About Stanton Peele
Stanton Peele is a psychologist who has changed the addiction field. He has pioneered, among other things, the idea that addiction occurs with a range of experiences, and the "harm reduction" approach to addiction. He has created the Life Process Program for treating addiction at St. Gregory Retreat Centers.
His website at www.peele.net contains much of his widely published writing, as well as his opinions and communications with people with addictive problems.
In his new book "Addiction Proof Your Child", to be published in August, Stanton describes how we are going wrong educating young people about drugs and alcohol, and how to prepare them to lead addiction free lives.
