I was dimly aware how overuse of digital color correction has distorted the color palette of movies, but this really brings it out. The 1977 stills, for all their imperfections, at least look like they came from a camera. In the 2004 stills, everything is f*@%!#g orange and blue!

To be fair, it's not entirely the screenwriter's fault. A lot of the credit for the badness of this line should go to the actress for her so-far-over-the-top-she's halfway-up-the-next-rise delivery.
