Yea. I hear ya about the recoil. I'll probably pick one up. Shot the pm9 a few times and I want something a little bigger and cheaper lol.

my heart thing
this is a video taken after my heart surgery by my cousin of my wife replacing the gauze from a wound to my chest. happened a few years back.
Didn't hurt when it happened. Adrenaline was pumping ya know

It's a Teflon coating but it may as well be paint cuz it does scratch off fairly easily. Crkts coatings stay on much better, but then again it's a better knife in my opinion to a similar sized crkt such as the new thunderbolt designs that have a coating similar to the recon.

I have the old model and I would love to see a torsion test between the 2 to see if the removal of the steel liners and the thinner profile affected the overall strength or not.
