I know everybody loves Macca's baselines (myself included) but this one is too pronounced. It sounds like I'm listening to an old concert and some bass player at home decided to compose a bass line to the song and insert it into this video.

I'm sorry but I just desperately want Daltrey's voice to jump outta this mix. Townshend does not have the vocal chops for his part of the song.

@ybot1983 That's not 100% true. With a song like Sympathy, the solos should be bold and blistering. They should not drag like country blues riffs. Every song has a guitar style that is required.

I always felt that this was a reworked version the Tommy Overture. Not sure if anybody else has mentioned this. Even the drumming is very Keith Moon.
