I've done this with a Surveillance camera and watched it in real time untill the GPS signal was lost! we had alot of time and about $450 bucks just gone! never found the camera or gps transmiter!

Your not going to find anything unless you get off the road and walk into the swamp. The more swampy the better, Take a tent food and water for a few days and just walk untill dark camp and get up and go some more! thats how we do it and it pays off!
