We are Screaming Sisterhood of the Ya Ya Boards. What does that mean exactly, you ask? Read for yourself...[Our Mission]
Our mission is to form a Peoplehood of soap fans, blending love of daytime fiction with passion for supporting real-life causes.
[Our Story]
It all started so simple with a love for a daytime tv serial. That affection was so great that fans joined a message board and formed strong bonds with complete strangers. Isn't that how all the stories go? There are tons of message boards out there, with tons of passionate fans chattering away on each. This one particular group of message board ladies stumbled upon a way to bring all those thousands of soap fans together under one roof, and it didn't matter which soap was the favorite or who was the favorite soap couple. No, the goal would be a common one, a grassroots effort to support causes close and dear to us all.
A handful of ladies from a couple of soap message boards, using social networking media like Twitter, began tossing out ways to globalize this idea, and formed "Screaming Sisterhood of the Ya Ya Boards." What they believed is that this notion of sisterhood should encompass man and woman alike, representing one bond and a common effort. In this respect, what they would have here is a Peoplehood.
"The Cause Connects Us All..."
