great site and videos. Can you do a review of the speak mic for this radio? Do you have the speaker mic and the MH-511 tri bander antenna?

I read a review of this where someone said if you solder a 56ohm resistor in series with the speaker that it would help reduce the excessive volume at the lowest level. Can you do a video of soldering the resistor or at least show the speaker connection points?

I've got a Midland 1001LWX and an ICOM 2200 in mine and it works out good. That's a really nice setup though. You could probably put an APRS tracker in there too. It doesn't need any console just a radio and the tracker you could stash that under the seat and a small antenna on the back
