About Silent Secrets...The band was formed in 2008 by three friends that first met in elementary school. Andy Nance, Alex Washam, and Blade Pickering formed Silent Secrets with aspirations of writing their own music. The Original members had musical influences from Hawthorne Heights, Silverstein, and other alternative bands. Pickering left the band in 2010 to pursue other interests. In the fall of 2010, Alex met Seth Clevenger who was playing bass for Hateful Love. Clevenger was asked to sit in with the band at practice. His musical influences of Nirvana, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and 311 meshed with Silent Secrets' hard driving form of alternative music. Austin Turberville was a fellow percussionist with Washam in the high school band. His musical influences are David Bowie, Billy Joel, and Freddie Mercury. He was invited to add the sound of keyboards and synthesizer which provided the band an extra quality that complimented the style of music they were seeking.

The band practiced several times a week leading up to their debut with the new lineup at a Battle of the Bands on New Years Eve 2010. Silent Secrets rocked the house with their original songs from previous days, as well as a few new songs. Silent Secrets is committed to exploring their musical journey with an open mind, but staying true to their musical influences.
