No i don't actually live in America but for all my life American culture and communications have played a large part in my life so i kind of do sometimes Americanize things as it were....

I agree. The major difference is that in the First World War Germany had a code of honour and the soldiers were honourable warriors. in the Second one, they were real barbarianas.
