The non-profit S.S. Columbia Project (SSCP) is dedicated to restoring and operating Americas oldest surviving passenger steamer, the National Historic Landmark Vessel SS Columbia, as a means of creating a unique educational platform regarding sustainability and stewardship; providing enriched public access to the cultural, scenic and environmental resources of the Hudson River Valley and New York Harbor; and revitalizing our waterfront communities through responsible heritage tourism.
