Hi everyone,
I'm going to be leaving YouTube, but before I do that I think you all deserve to know why. I've been keeping a very big secret since I started YouTube and that secret is that my name is NOT Yasmin, I don't live in California, and I'm not half Saudi Arabian.
I am incredibly, incredibly, incredibly sorry for lying to everyone. I just wanted to be safe online but then it all went out of proportion, and I developed really close friendships with some people. Anyway I would've told everyone earlier, but I just didn't know how to tell anyone. I realized though, that I needed to stop living this lie and just come out with the truth.
One last thing I want to say, is that even though some people may call me "fake" now and all sorts of things, I'm not and no one should feel that everyone else online is fake either. Just because I lied about my name and some other things, doesn't mean that everything else I told any of you was a lie. All of my interests and my personality was all real. And about other people, just because I lied doesn't mean that EVERYONE else lies as well. I have made a lot of friendships online now, and all the people I'm friends with are as real as they can get. And even if they maybe are lying about their name or something like that, just remember that they aren't "fake" or so forth...because they're personality and attitude are still the same.
Anyway, I'm going to be leaving YouTube now because I want to end this all and never come back to it. Again, I'm really sorry I lied to you all and I know some of you really don't care about this because you barely knew me, but I wanted to tell the truth to anyone I ever lied to. I hope everyone sees this message. Everyone have a great life, and please forgive me. :)
