Srdjan Ivanovic: drummer from Sarajevo, formerly living in Athens, currently living in Amsterdam.
Also producing and composing music for his own bands: Blazin' Quartet -blazinquartet.com - and Sabahudin I. Srdjanovic. He has wone several competition a.o. the Dutch Jazz Competition 2008.

Srdjan is endorsed by and plays Istanbul Agop cymbals.

Born 1983, in Sarajevo (Bosnia&Herzegovina), Srdjan has been living in Amsterdam - The Netherlands since 2003.

He has been leading and composing for the band Blazin' Quartet with which in July 2008 he won the "Dutch Jazz Competition", at finals held at North Sea Jazz Festival in Rotterdam. They performed around the Netherlands, making the Young VIPs Tour as well as at North Sea Jazz Festival 2009 and 2010, competing in the EBU European Jazz Competition (representing the Netherlends). as well as an extensive 10 concert tour 'The Young VIPs Tour' of the Netherlands in May, June and November 2009.

He has also appeared with: Mala Vita (playing over 100 concerts), as an actor-musician in "Blik", performance of Appel Theater from The Hague, in about 80 performances.

In April 2008, he won the 1st prize at the Holland Casino Jazz&Pop Award, being appraised by the jury for the originality of both his compositions and playing. He also won the 1st prize in the 2009 edition of the same award, performing as a sideman.

He has performed live in Austria, Belgium, Bosnia, Brazil, Croatia, Egypt, Greece, Germany, Hungary, France, Montenegro, The Netherlands, Thailand, Serbia, Switzerland, Italy, Poland and and played and recorded with many of the best musicians in Greece and Holland.

He has been interviewed by various media, a.o. the Slagwerkkrant (drummers magazine), Slobodna Bosna (bosnian weekly magazine) and has appeared on shows such as De Werld Draait Door, On Air and Giel Beelen's 3FM morning radio programme, Koen Schouten's Shouting Boots radio programe on Radio 6, and his band the Blazin' Quartet has been repeatedly acclaimed by critics and journalists of magazines and newspapers such as Jazzism and De Volkskrant.
