congratulations on your new adventure-driving. You want contact. If you are a western rider (as I am) you will not understand this. May I suggest you find an instructor that is a member of the American Driving Society or a local driving club to assist you. LOVELY horse with GREAT headset.

The gaited horse associations are to blame. If they did not place the horses that were trained to move like that, there would be no more of the abusive soring, long feet, mustard on the fetlocks and heels. Shame on the associations.

I miss this show. The vets at this hospital have so much heart and compassion for their work. GOD bless our veterinarians!

What a lovely horse! It is sad to see a horse unable to live his life as GOD intended it. I have horses and they are my babies, but I would put this animal down if he was mine. Very hard decision to make, but again, horses need to live well as they were meant to be. Good luck.

Lovely horse. You need a driving whip to encourage instead of flapping the rein at him. You also need some contact with those reins. You are amazing with your start. Consider investing in some driving lessons from someone that knows "driven dressage".

I have to remember not al animals are treated like my animals-with respect, kindness, compassion, love and dignity. What type of MONSTER would do this to an innocent animal? Thank GOD my horses and dogs live better than I do-they are my first priority. The people who allow these kinds of thing...

there is nothing wrong with your mare's headset and forward is good. Looks like a perfect dressage or driving prospect. Consider marketing her to your local driving clubs. My mustang mare is to die for and a head set can be taught if that is what you think she needs. She is a very nice mover.
