Dude, stop using that catnip shampoo!

I love the look of hardwood floors but I have pets. I worry about scratches and urine stains. Can I get the look of hardwood? Will I get dark stains if my pets have an accident? Is it expensive? I was also considering wood look tile because of its durability and easy cleanup.

Hmmm.... I think I've made just about every one of those statements at one time or another, lol. And yes....I own a Loree....a Royal in fact. But seriously, Loree is more popular in North America. Not the most popular oboe in other parts of the world and a lot of people love Marigaux :-)

@darryaz Since I wrote this I read at the Laubin site that he plays a Laubin. I've tried several Laubin oboes, but I'm so used to my Loree Royal that I can't seem to get the sound I want from a Laubin. Still great instruments though.

Anyone know what make oboe this is?

Why is it the oboe players I play with don't look like him? ...er...I mean sound like him.

This oboe has a nice dark, warm sound but it's still vibrant, not dull. By the way, could you make me some reeds? Just kidding (sort of). Oh, also very nice phrasing by the way and great expression.

This is a really nice sounding oboe. I know of course that it isn't just the oboe, but a combination of the reed, the expertise of the player and the instrument. It's a somewhat dark, rich, warm tone, but yet still vibrant, not dull sounding. Not sure why Frank oboes do not seem to be as popular ...

This is a quarter horse? He's beautiful. Not sure why the negative comments, this is obviously a strong, fit, horse. Oh, and foaming at the mouth is normal, actually happens when a horse is accepting the bit and is comfortable.

@enea0629 Sometimes an oboe player isn't available, or, it's because the piece is so beautiful there ends up being many arrangements of it for other instruments. I just heard a beautiful arrangement of this piece for euphoniums.

I love how Peterson sneaks in some Classical tunes in his improvizsations. Do I hear bits of Clair de Lune and even some Rachmaninov in here? Tatum did that also though (nobody knows the trouble I've seen.)

I just bought a tudor style home and I think a dark wood grain would look nice on the white garage door and front door but I'm a little nervous to try this. Do you recommend practicing first on some scrap wood or metal?

Regardless of your beliefs, Handel was an amazing composer. If nothing else, just enjoy the music for the beauty of it and leave the negative comments out of it. I feel sorry for people who feel it's necessary to criticize any joyous or inspiring occasion. Happy Holidays.

I like the out of tune piano. Sounds kind of creepy LOL! The left hand sounds good, but I like to add a 3rd note in between the octaves for the 3rd chord of each pattern.

I agree, the left hand sounds more complete and sounds closer to the original. I also like the clicking "hi hat" sound in the background.

....Oops, I think I meant Bb, Eb, Bb (one octave higher) all played at the same time. I don't havre a keyboard in front of me and I said the wrong note by mistake.
