I have the same car. 1995 Saturn SL1. Exact same problem. Delayed shifting to reverse, doesn't like shifting to 3rd gear or 4th gear. I also have been putting it in neutral whenever I slow down. Gotta love American cars right?

If you soak the strips in water prior to bending, would you want to bend first and then glue once dried, or can you glue the wet strips?
