About this user

I'm generally a happy easy-going person and I like to make the most of everything that comes my way. I choose to refer to myself as a 'neek' -- a cross between a 'geek' and a 'nerd', because I'm never too sure which one I am at any one time. I work full time, and I also dance three days a week (classical - both on flats and en pointe, jazz, and tap), and there is never enough time left over to do all the reading that I want to do! In my opinion, there is nothing better than curling up with a good book (especially if it's raining outside), having cuddles with my dogs, or sitting in front of a good movie while working on my latest cross stitch (the current one is a John Howe illustrated map of Middle-Earth, which I started in September of 2006). I'm really good at procrastinating (I've been in the process of updating my website for about two years now, if that's any indication!). For all that, though, I'm a sensitive, caring, fiercely loyal individual. I love my family and my friends and my dogs, along with life and all the experiences that come with it.
