About Me:
Even though I work as an interpreter I'm by no means perfect in any language that I speak. I'm still a learner and I will remain one for the rest of my life. Once we have realized that mistakes are not a sign of failure but a source of improvement, the entire process of learning becomes much more pleasant. Just as criticism can be very beneficial, as long as it is constructive and not ill-intentioned.
I enjoy learning from other people, not only with regard to languages but also when it comes to different life experiences. I try to be as open-minded as possible but there needs to be a common denominator and in my case that is mutual respect. We can differ in our opinions, but we should never fail to respect each other as human beings.
Religion: I was raised as a Catholic but I am no longer a member of any religious group. I respect believers as long as they show respect for other people as well. If there is a God he/she/it will certainly be put off by many things which have been going on in his/her/its name.

We need to learn to get along with each other despite some of the differences that may exist between us. After all, we are all human beings and we only have one planet to share.

Ich finde es prima, dass du viele sprachen sprechen. Wie viele? Ich spreche Englisch, ein bisschen Deutsch und auch ein bisschen Chinesisch.

Hallo Robert! Ich habe ihr Video angeschaut, wo Sie Russisch sprechen. Ihr Russisch ist wirklich ganz gut. In ihrem Video haben Sie erwähnt, dass Sie Ihre Russisch-Kenntnisse gerne verbessern würden. Ich bin ein Russlanddeutsche, der vor 4 Jahren nach Deutschland gezogen ist. Es wäre super, wenn wir uns gegenseitig helfen würden, indem wir uns per Skype einbisschen unterhalten würden. Hi Robert! Thanks for introducing me to your channel -- I think you may have just inspired me to learn German! It's great to find people with similar passions and interests (especially in Mandarin!) and if you're interested, I know a number of language-learning sites that have grammar and vocabulary written completely in Egyptian Arabic. Also, züruck mit der Sprachthema, möchte ich dich gratulieren für deine Mühe mit den Sprachen und ich liebe auch sie. Bald werde ich Videos hochladen, wo ich mehrere Sprache spreche, wie du und Luca, der Italiener polyglot und Richard, usw... Und deutlich ein Video auf Deutsch.
