i agree with him saying she needs to eat more to burn fat.. he said she has internal fat which is more dangerous.. her body is rebelling against such a low calorie regime.. so is holding onto the bad fat.. she's smart to eat a bit more and exercise normally :)

bottom line.. parents buy the food for the children.. educate the parents (if you can?).. you can make a living from healthy food .. just look at the organic food industry.. it's growing so fast and it's all due to EDUCATION.. we need to start from a very early age.. how early???? FROM BIRTH!!!!

@rosworms .. in the long run junk/crap food as you described it will cost you almost double the money when you end up sick or obese later on down the track.. the way to work out how cheap food is.. take fresh and junk.. work out the cost per 100g and you'll soon see which is cheaper AND has more...

i'm not a hippy and i have chickens, fruit trees and a vegetable garden.. i know where the food comes from, what's gone on it, how old it is and how i prepare it.. my son is 9 and has a lunch order ONCE a week and it's of MY choice what he eats.. we can never blame any child for being overweight ...

jamie has inspired me to look in my own pantry and chuck the crap out.. my freezer is always processed-food-free.. cheaper to buy REAL MEAT in the long run :) love your work jamie!

thank goodness we don't have ANY fast food available at any of our schools here where i live.. we still have lots of overweight kids so it's totally up to the parents to get it sorted.. you're brilliant jamie and if you change one kid's life for the better then it isn't a waste :)

the majority are that bad in lower income areas all around the world.. not just the usa.. but you really don't need to spend much more to eat healthily.. i've been a single parent for years and my kids aren't overweight and they know what fruit and vegetables are.. it is a kind of child abuse tha...

we all have to do "our bit" to help jamie.. i for one am going to have a major pantry/freezer chuck out.. the least i can do for my son :)

i truly believe in everything jamie stands for.. the ignorance right across the world (not just the USA) is absolutely amazing.. we are literally killing our kids.. this is the FIRST generation that may not out live their parents.. how can anyone ignore this????? keep up the fight jamie!!!
