The Spotlight Video Show was a Remote Control Production that was broadcast/cablecast from 1991-1995.It started as a local origination program on St Louis public access and ended its run on KPLR 11. In all 65 half-hour episodes were produced.The show was hosted by local comic and publisher Royce Kelly aka Bob Baker..
The show was produced by Rod Sherrell but was a collaborative effort between a lot of talented people
Tom Schlueter,Kevin Polito, Trish Richter,Suzanne Knight, Paul Nordmann, Glen Alan Sherrell, John Albanese, Scott Freeman, Lee Mueller,AGOG,and a young kid attending the Broadcast Center by the name of Kathleen England. Just to name a few
The purpose of the show was to provide a media outlet for local artists, but also included videos from regional and national bands signed to both indie and major labels.
Although the program included many videos from these labels, we can only include material that we shot and own copyrights to.
Bear in mind this was the 90's and all we had to work with was S-VHS so the quality is not what we're used to today.I hope you appreciate the content and forgive the quality.
