Southwind Rising Volleyball is a Junior Olympic Volleyball Club in the Kansas City area. Our club philosophy is "Integrity by design, Excellence through training". Under the leadership of Rachel Magana, director, the club has sent 6 teams to the Junior Olympic National Championships (2007-2011). Southwind Rising has demonstrated a track record of developing competitive teams at both the National and Regional level. The club not only promotes excellent volleyball athletes but strives to ensure a well-rounded person by incorporating strong teamwork skills, leadership training and cultivating positive self-esteem.
