I really love the postings.... I love Gwen Torrence she was fast firece and aggressive and multi-talented ... I wanted to see this race for such a long time.... Missed her very much from international competition...congrats Gwen... your gifted and blessed

wow Merlene ran a fast quarterfinals 21.94 into a -0.9/mps headwind ... had she ran that in the finals she would have gotten the silver medal... any she is a legend for her longevity and her accolades...

As fierce as Gwen was in attitude I believe she was a great runnner... after 4 rounds in both the 100m & 200m plus a second leg of the 4x100m she ripped open the mile relay for team USA with a sorcher 49.0 leg!
