I think the reason it is so, ahh...joyous is because since this is meant to be his execution for killing his "beloved," the people watching the execution are happy because of the justice served. Perhaps it is the happiness of the people watching his execution that he is demonstrating in this?

Personally, I think the original one is much better...it has much more passion and soul. Singing is about more then just having a pretty sounding voice.

At 2:57 the clarinets could have played out a bit...at least, when I performed it we played it louder...I'm not sure if it's supposed to be very loud. It could just be because all the clarinets (including myself) are so full of hot air at my school >:)

This was the first roller-coaster I ever rode :) I listened to Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger by Daft Punk. It was epic.

This is one of those songs that just leaves you with a sense of unease, of wrongness. It makes me feel physically sick...why do I enjoy listening to it so much? >:)

I love how it crescendos and then backs off....and the crescendos again! It kind of gives an image of running through the woods-you see a flash of the scarecrow, and then he disappears into the darkness again, lurking and waiting for the perfect moment to strike...

This freaked the shit out of me when I was younger...fun to watch now though...still, slightly disturbing...

I remember watching this episode when I was younger...kind of freaked me out (just cuz I was young) but I'm glad I found the song. I love this guy now. THANK YOU BILLY AND MANDY :D!!!

I sang this all day at school >:-D No one knew the song. It was especially interesting when a teacher overheard me singing it. She's afraid of me now. Oh well. She doesn't get any cookies.

I'm trying to start playing jazz clarinet (only 7th grade) but, even though there was a jazz band, my band director wouldn't let me join, because apparently the only instruments that can play jazz are trumpets and saxophones. Oh well. Hopefully one day he'll see the beauty in jazz clarinet :D Oh...
