As an ashamed former employee of continental airlines (purposely spelled in lower class, er, case letters) I use this forum to advise the public to NOT fly this sorry airline (airline is REALLY a stretch).
Ironically, I posted this today, New Years Eve, 2007, as this day is the anniversary of having to argue with a scheduling SUPERVISOR that Chicago is CENTRAL time! The moron insisted Chicago was EASTERN time! In order to be an ontime airline you need to know the TIME ZONES! This was the sixth month of my experience at continental and it just kept getting WORSE. I could continue ad infinitum.
I just had to make this public service announcement in light of all the blunders that continental makes. Such as the overflowing toilets (Amsterdam to Newark last summer), the delayed flight (also last summer) from IAH to OKC because a 5 (?) year old child annoyed a POS flight attendant, etc., etc., etc. In MY WORLD, through PERSONAL EXPERIENCE, continental is a "four letter word".
If you choose to fly continental, I wish you luck because you're CERTAINLY GOING TO NEED IT!
