All things are possible to god remember? Matthew 21:21-22 NAS Matthew 7:7-8 NAB Matthew 18:19-20 NAS Mark 11:24-25 NAB Luke 11:9-13 NAB John 14:13-14 NAB John 15:7 NAB John 15:16 NAB John 16:23-24 NAB. Jesus says "ask and I'll do it", not "I'll think about it", or "only if it's according to my will", no. Ask and you receive. Or is that a metaphor? I want to continue this conversation. I want to see 'ors712' in blue text on this channel above this comment.
Don't let me down.

I feel like this is going nowhere fast. I am open to being proved wrong on the existence of god, but I need evidence, not stories. To even consider the possibility of a magical god you must first demonstrate the existence of magic or the supernatural. Prayer is your direct line to god is it not? The effectiveness of prayer would be a good start to establishing the existence of any god, not just yours. Here's a very simple test. I am going to block you. Pray to god that he will undo the block so that you may continue to preach to me and show me the proof of god's existence.

6 "It is not a false analogy since you admitted that no document you observe is infallible."
I do not hold any document infallible because if evidence if found refuting it I follow the evidence to determine what has actually happen.
No historian holds ANYTHING infallible. New evidence could rewrite what we know about history, but there has to be EVIDENCE behind it. You read the bible, assume its infallible, and continue to make excuses in face of reality.
I asked why you believe in god and you said "resurrection." Why? Well the bible says... The same old argument over and over again.
You're not biased right? Oh of course not.
What would you consider evidence that god might not exist?

5 "Oh and i want a contemporary account, nothing antiquated like oh idk.. the annals themselves."
-facepalm-
Contemporary: existing, occurring, or living at the same time; belonging to the same time
You have no idea what contemporary means.
Good try though. :)
Oh wait, no it wasn't.

4 "Your criticism isn't criticism because you entered the discussion with a bias and are fueled to seek that bias to the very end." "The foundation of my belief is from the Bible as a whole"
Projection, circular reasoning... yawn
I was under the impression it was in the koran, but you say it's not. However your honesty is doubtful considering the conversation thus far. I notice you complain about the source of the claim, but you make no explanation of WHY you don't believe he flew into heaven...
"The foundation of my belief is from the Bible as a whole"
Oh yeah, bias.

3 And you STILL have not given me the exact verse which labels which miracles are metaphor and which are literal.
Why not?
