Wing Chun - Rules of Engagement
different scenarios, same principle behind it
@mvbrown25 The execution of the bong is a matter of opinion. You aren't the first person to be an arm-chair quarterback and you certainly won't be the last. People ask questions, I answer questions. You're missing the big picture to what the video is about. People can think what they want. T...

Wing Chun - Rules of Engagement
different scenarios, same principle behind it
@mvbrown25 Coming in with a jaam sau, then you'd still be technique blocking, what you're saying no to. If you plan to side step or backward step, you'd be gambling that you're opponent won't adjust and come back at you. And if you're caught going backwards or to the side, and they do adjust an...

Wing Chun - Rules of Engagement
different scenarios, same principle behind it
@mvbrown25 The jong sau is shooting out and adjusting to the incoming attack. The bong sau is not fully complete until the contact is made and control of the attack is obtained and then taken off target. If an opponent does make a switch to another attack, he would be opening himself up even mo...

@mvbrown25 I don't think you understand the difference between hard blocking and structure blocking.

@truthonlydotcom That's true. That's the problem with Demo's, they don't fight back.

Wing Chun - Rules of Engagement
different scenarios, same principle behind it
@alawha You sound pretty ignorant on fighting. You really think you're going to "stand ground" when that fireplug of a criminal is rushing you? You think you're going to side step and punch? Sounds like you're scared to get hit. If you really think you're going to "check" a kick, it's clear ...

Wing Chun - Rules of Engagement

@steelbridge652 fighting/self-defense are the same thing in my book. Fighting/self-defense compared to sparring is apples and oranges. If the situation is a fight/self-defense situation you may square off with an opponent, but the tactic is still the same, just go in. I don't care if he moves...

Wing Chun - Build The Bridge
if you wish to donate, you can do so at http://www.china-boxer.blog...
@chinaboxer Not sure I follow. If they do JKD, TKD, BJJ or whatever, aren't I still doing the same thing? Going into chi sau range so I can attack their center? Why does it matter what they do? If I ask out a girl, what does it matter what their skin color is? A girl is a girl and I'd ask ...

@chinaboxer Why do I need to practice against other martial arts? I know how to play my game, the wing chun game. Attack the centerline of the opponent. Isn't that all the same, no matter what style they may practice?

Hey Jin, I noticed you've evolved your wing chun stance. Now you are saying you are 50/50. Before in an older video you said you were 60/40. Good for you for making the change. Did you do that on your own discovery? Or did your sifu point that out to you?

@Crawdaddy75 It's not the stance. We apply with square shoulders to the target. It's the balanced and natural way to apply.
