About spidamidget
I love arachnids and reptiles and perhaps by watching some of my videos, you will too.
If you have any questions or comments about tarantulas, feel free to ask me through commenting or mailing me through Youtube. I regularly answer questions and give advice on scorpions, lizards/geckos, and tips on things such as housing/feeding.
Unlikely to post new videos unless I get my hands on something really unique. Rare T's are very expensive and hard to find in Canada.

August 27th 2011 Update:
Attended the Western Canadian Reptile Expo in Red Deer, AB.
I had a chance to check out Tarantula Canada and Arachnophiliac's booths and buy lots of new additions from them. It's always a pleasure to deal with these two incredible assets to the Canadian tarantula hobby and a big thanks goes out to them for taking the long trip to get here for the show.
What I bought at the show:
- 1 Gooty sapphire ornamental (Poecilotheria metallica) 1"
- 1 Ivory ornamental (Poecilotheria subfusca "highland") 1"
- 3 Trinidad olives (Holothele incei) 0.25"
- 2 Salmon pink birdeaters (Lasiodora parahybana) 0.25"
- 1 Costa Rican zebra (Aphonopelma seemani) 1.5"
This brings me up to a total count of 24 tarantulas with the rest including:
- Brazilian white knee (Acanthoscurria geniculata) 8" female
- Goliath birdeater (Theraphosa stirmi) 8" female
- Chilean rose haired (Grammostola rosea) 4.5" female
- Pink toed (Avicularia avicularia) 4.5" female
- Venezuelan suntiger (Psalmopoeus irminia) 6" male
- Venezuelan suntiger (Psalmopoeus irminia) 1.25" sling
- Greenbottle blue (Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens) 1.5" sling
- Chaco golden knee (Grammostola pulchripes) 4" female
- Chinese fawn birdeater (Chilobrachys sp. "guanxiensis") 5.5" pure evil female
- Fort hall baboon (Pterinochilus lugardi) 3" female
- Curved horn baboon (Ceratogyrus darlingi) 2.5" unsexed
- Flagstaff orange (Aphonopelma chalcodes?) 4" unsexed
- Indian ornamental (Poecilotheria regalis) 7" female
- Salem ornamental (Poecilotheria formosa) 3" unsexed
- Chilean rose haired 'red color form' (Grammostola rosea rcf) 5" beautiful male
- Togo starburst baboon (Heteroscodra maculata) 3" unsexed
In addition to tarantulas, I also currently have:
- 2 Leopard geckos (one mature female, one juvenile male)
- Bearded dragon (juvenile unsexed)
- Crested gecko (common; adult)
- Ball python (normal; male; approx. 2 feet)
- Vietnamese giant centipede (Scolopendra subspinipes)
- Red headed agama (has some mental health issue when it comes to eating ... not literally, but he just does something hilarious and unique at feeding time. I may post a video about it sometime soon.)
The collection just gets bigger and bigger and bigger and bigger ... animals are just so cool! Cheers!
